We'll go all the way back to the beginning.
Stormi and Maggie both started on Neopets. Maggie started with a graphics site called Subtle Innocence Designs, and Stormi (known then as Klaus) owned one called B&C Lyts. Maggie's site had an award that was given to super-cool sites, and Klaus was chosen to receive the award. They got to talking, and realized they had a lot in common.
One day Maggie was working on layout for her site that just happened to be a scribble layout. Stormi helped a lot in the idea department of that layout. If you want to see the layout, it's right here.
One day, Maggie mentioned the idea of starting a scribble site (on neo, of course, because that was all that mattered back then). Stormi's exact words were, "That's the best idea I've heard all day!" So the girls set to work, making the content that you see on LAWLZZ today.
The neo site was a few days from opening, when the awful filters of doom were created. Neo thought it was a good idea to set these
crazy filters so that you couldn't use words that were necessary to a layout inside the style tags. We just kind of gave up.
We finally decided to buy a domain and a hosting plan, and that's how we ended up where we are today.
A lot of preparation went into LAWLZZ. And even though our original plan didn't work out, we kept trying and moved on to bigger, better things.

V. 7 --- Sleek
This is our first layout with 100% valid CSS. I was really proud :333. It took about two hours to make and three hours to code. This is the current layout.
V. 6 --- Oh Mr. Cullen
This is probably our second-best layout, featuring Robert Pattinson. It was made by Stormi in honor of the release of the Twilight movie
(11/21/08). It definitely had the best CSS and color palette.
V. 5 --- Blister in the Sun
Another layout by Stormi. Our first layout with real people in it. It was rather big and took a little while to load, but it was
freaking beautiful. This one lasted a pretty long time. About a month, I think.
V. 4 --- Doodles
"Doodles" was made by Maggie in a very short amount of time. There was a lot of drawing and scanning that went into this. The CSS
kinda sucked, so it hardly lasted a week. It was soon after this that we decided to get rid of the "scribble/pixel" theme and make some
decent graphics.
V. 3 --- Cloudz
The third layout, appropriately named Cloudz, was also made by Stormi. It wasn't up for too long; maybe a week or two at the most.
V. 2 --- Turntable
This second layout was made by Maggie. The main content area was on the record in the middle, and it was really cool-looking.
It got boring after a while though, since it wasn't real exciting once you got over the fact that it was a scribbled turntable.
We only had it up for a week or two.
V. 1 --- Candyland
This is was our grand opening layout. It was, by far, our best layout to date. Stormi made it from scratch (except that patterned
background which can be found in a million places on Photobucket). We kept it up for about a month. It was really big, and took a LONG time to
load, so we needed a change.
